Omega 6 promotes diabetes and heart inflammation

It is well known that omega6, polyunsaturated fatty acids of the category of omega fats, contained in oil seeds, dried and oily fruit, seed oils, are not really good for your health.

Although they are essential because their precurson, linoleic acid, cannot be synthesized by the human body, it is actually necessary to moderate its consumption, or balance it with omega3.

To do this, it is best to avoid supplements.
It would be enough to reduce the sources of omega6 fatty acids and increase the consumption of fish to 3 weekly portions to reduce any health risk.
And it should be mainly people over 65 who do this.

OMEGA 6: RISK FOR THE OVER 65

A new study conducted by the University of Alabama in Birmingham has found that omega 6 suppresses the immune system in older people.

And they promote not only the onset of diabetes, but also a greater cardiovascular risk.

A diet rich in omega6 fatty acids also induces overweight in those who are no longer very young. And this would happen not just because of the high calories of oily fruit and vegetable oils.

The bacterial flora would be changed in favor of Firmicutes, a particular type of bacteria that promote overweight and are related to a greater inflammatory risk. While younger people still have the immune resources to fight this inflammatory process, it’s not the same for someone in their sixties for a while.
