Oh my God how fat you are! Here’s how facebook makes people lose weight

dietfacebookStarting by writing an article after putting such a title is not easy, even if the title is true. In fact, there may be a risk that it will be misunderstood. As we know, facebook and other social newtorks are not exactly the bulwark of good education : many disputes and controversies break out precisely because, compared to real life, many people feel legitimized by a shameless sincerity that borders on rudeness or even cruelty. Protected by a computer, people on facebook write exactly what goes into their heads . With all the consequences for those who post something personal and can be bullied. Yet, without justifying the tones of bullies, controversies and ferocious jokes, facebook was the spring that pushed some people to lose weight . How? Through the photos. There are those who have posted their photos and have heard comment: well ‘, maybe if you lose a few pounds … Or: oh my God how fat you are! Here, especially if through facebook we find some lost companionship, time may not have been a gentleman.
But the bad comment was the reason why many people decided to change their life , starting from the waist: were they considered fat by everyone? Many had no idea that they had gained so much weight and let themselves go. And so what was later called the Facebook diet started for them. And so, a girl loses fifteen pounds after posting a picture of her eating a pizza and reading unflattering comments from people she didn’t even know; another, treacherously tagged by her sister in a photo of her holding her niece in her arms, heard jokes about her arm, and she realized that well, a little gym wasn’t bad idea. On the other hand, her husband was a personal trainer!
In short, comments can hurt us to death, in other cases they can “open our eyes” : if you feel good about yourself I recommend not caring about it (and I have a diet blog …), but if we were looking for a motivation or thought, well , come on, I haven’t gained so much weight, sometimes the sincere opinion can make us decide to embrace a healthier lifestyle. And delete the account.
