MORANBONG IS BORN, THE NORTH KOREAN “HYBRID” CONSOLE

Moranbong is born from distant North Korea, a console that takes its “cue” a little from Wii, a little from Kinect and a little from Sony’s Move. here is the

Moranbong

Not only PlayStation 5 and Project Scarlett , in addition of course to Nintendo Switch , but this new generation of consoles will have another pretender for the throne that comes directly from North Korea. Don’t believe it? In fact, you do well. Seriously, in a country that we all know is extremely closed in on itself and quite out of the world (especially in terms of communication, social media and the like), a new gaming machine has emerged with a name that is as impractical as it is enjoyable. We are talking about Moranbong , a “hybrid” console not because it is similar to Switch but because it manages to plagiarize 3 of the particularities of current and old generation consoles in a single shot.

From the image that you can see distributed by the North Korean site Arirang Meari, in fact, it is clear how Moranbong was inspired by Microsoft’s Kinect, Sony’s Moves and a main structure similar to Nintendo’s Wii to forge what appears to be a beautiful and good. The console will most likely be run by state control and sold at a very affordable price. Information on this is scarce at the moment but we know that the machine will mainly approach party game and sports titles that can be used through motion sensors, even there has been talk of fitness applications as Wii did with its Balance Board at the time.

How many of you are interested in this console that is unlikely to leave your native territory?
