I have often spoken of Dr. Pier Luigi Rossi , dietician, inventor of the molecular diet method and author of the book ” From calories to molecules ” ( Aboca editions ).

Dr. Rossi often talks in his articles about abdominal fat and visceral fat , a health hazard and not just an aesthetic fact.
Having a swollen belly and a build-up of fat around the waist are two problems that increase for most people over time. Postmenopausal women experience this redistribution of fat, gaining weight especially on the belly. But even those who diet continuously and have a normal weight can have abdominal fat.
