Light donut with cocoa: 150 calories per slice
Who wouldn’t want a big slice of light cocoa donut? I not only want it but I have just finished preparing this delight. And a big slice contains only 150 calories.
This light cocoa donut, whose recipe has been adapted from that of Skinny Girl Standard, is a dream come true. 150 calories correspond to 125 grams of low-fat yogurt or 180 ml of semi-skimmed milk + 3 rusks. So if you are on a diet and have a similar breakfast, you can replace it with a nice slice of this dessert.
COCOA LIGHT DONUT
-
Ingredients for 8 servings
- 200 grams of flour 00
- 75 grams of Truvia
- a teaspoon of baking powder
- a heaped teaspoon of baking soda
- a pinch of salt
- 40 grams of cocoa
- 35 grams of Vallè Bio margarine or two tablespoons of delicate olive oil
- 100 grams of egg whites
- a bag of vanillin
- 200 ml of Alpro Light milk with almond or coconut flavor with no added sugar
- 250 ml of hot water.
Method
Preparing the light cocoa donut is very simple. In a bowl, mix all the dry, non-liquid ingredients. So flour, cocoa, salt and so on. In another, add the melted margarine, egg whites, cold milk and finally hot water in that order.
Line the mold with parchment paper or grease it with very little oil or margarine. Turn on the oven at 175 degrees.
Gradually mix the liquid ingredients into the dry ones with a whisk or a spatula. Pour the mixture into the mold and place in the oven for about half an hour.
