Junk food, are you sure you know what it is?
Junk food is why we in the West are overweight . There are no longer any doubts about this. Not carbohydrates, not fats, not excess calories make us fat, but that ferocious pairing of harmful bad quality fats often associated with pounds of refined sugar in all forms, accompanied by a lot of chemistry, or even depleted foods. of every nutrient that is poison to the body. This is the closest description to junk food. And this is why our metabolism slows down more and more, why many of us are affected by insulin resistance and don’t know it, why we have bellies that swell enormously with each meal, and finally why between meals and the other we are hungry. And still hungry.
But … are we sure we know our enemy? Everyone when it comes to junk food imagines fast food, some snacks and little else. But today, the canonical definition of junk food is NOT enough anymore.
JUNK FOOD, THE FOOD LIST TO AVOID FOR OUR HEALTH AND OUR LINE

Drink:energy drinks, light drinks, fruit juices, fruit drinks, artificial drinks (soda: gazzosa, orangeade), syrups, packaged teas, liqueurs. Sweet snacks: Mars-type bars, chocolate bars, Nutella-type cream, chocolate sticks with less than 70 percent cocoa, candies, gummy bears, chocolates, packaged snacks, packaged cakes, packaged biscuits. White flours and baked goods with white flours: double zero flour, zero flour, Manitoba flour, non-wholemeal rice flour, kamut flour. Products created with these flours (white bread). Low fat foods: skim milk, skim cheese, any product with the word light written on it, margarine, reduced-fat sauces, light mayonnaise.

There. When I say that if you want to lose weight you have to eat REAL FOOD , I mean to exclude all of these things.
The most useful definition of junk food is: empty food. And empty food is junk.
