Is my varied diet correct?

Is my varied diet correct?

Hello, I’m 26 years old and I wanted to ask you for an opinion about my diet: I know that you should add the right amount of food every day (carbohydrates, proteins, etc.) but I love to eat differently. There are some days that I eat carbohydrates, fruits , vegetables and dairy products ( milk for breakfast); the days I eat meat , fruit and vegetables and dairy products (always milk in the morning); days I eat eggs , fruits and vegetables and dairy products in the morning. In short, in the evening I almost always keep myself light by having dinner with vegetables or legumesand fruit while at a varied lunch. I feel good like this … days maybe I eat a little too much and others I feel very light … is it a serious mistake in your opinion? thank you

Hi, the first rule is to listen to the needs of our body: eat what you feel, when you feel, as our body knows what it needs and directs us to foods that contain the nutrients we need at that moment. more. During the day the secreted hormones change in type and quantity, in particular in the morning we are more oriented to burn energy, thanks to the boost of cortisol and thyroid hormones, while with the passing of the day we tend to accumulate what we eat more easily . So the best thing is to have a hearty breakfast, rich in carbohydrates, proteins, mineral salts and vitamins (excellent a centrifuged fruit and vegetables, a juice, fresh fruit), to ensure a good signal of satiety already in the morning. , a complete lunch and a very light dinner, based on vegetables and few legumes or carbohydrates. The only advice I can give you is not to consume an excess of cured meats and dairy products, preferring lean white meats and blue fish or salmon, rather. Sincerely, Dr. Gabriella Fugazzotto Specialist in Food Sciences, Homotoxicology, PsychoNeuroEndocrineImmunology

Good morning, physiologically the body needs to introduce carbohydrates with the diet in the first part of the day due to the work of cortisol and thyroid hormones while in the evening meal proteins are preferable (whether they are of vegetable origin or not). This is a scheme that helps in the correct trend and control of blood sugar, which is essential for maintaining good health over time. Therefore, within the same day, proteins, carbohydrates must not be lacking, however selecting their quality, seasonal fruit and vegetables and nuts. Variety is important to give all the nutrients essential for the good general functioning of our body. The quantity is strictly personal and linked to one’s needs. The important thing is that she feels good, energetic and clear-headed. Never weak or tired. If his health conditions allow it, he can indulge in monopasti without any problems. Keep in mind that carbohydrates include a rather diverse group of foods and so with regard to proteins. I’ll give you an example. Legumes are vegetable proteins but still proteins. Eggs, meats and fish are animal proteins but can also find good amounts of protein in some cereals. Vice versa, vegetables and fruit can be included in the carbohydrate group but with different qualities for the content of vitamins and minerals if we intend to compare them to baked goods but equally rich in elements if we are talking about whole grains .. I hope I have helped you. Kind regards Cinzia Zedda naturopath writer If his health conditions allow it, he can indulge in monopasti without any problems. Regarding nutrition, or rather nutrition, there are always debated and often contradictory opinions, but a guideline can be found according to the general lines of the World Health Organization. Obviously the different cultures and traditions tend to influence a lot about these lines and certainly also the various environmental conditions in which the cultures have developed. Our diet, although conditioned by marketing, provides us with all kinds of needs, but it remains for us to be able to make the correct choices according to the guidelines, but also knowing how to listen to the needs of our body that must be distinguished from the need for emotional compensation. The quality of food and its naturalness, if it can still be defined as such, should be at the center of our choices, but we should also get used to knowing how to vary our daily choices by avoiding repeating the same foods for several days, as we usually do with pasta and rice or meat, eggs and cheeses where excessive and constant consumption deforms the lines of our body. Even skipping meals or not considering a mid-day or mid-afternoon snack can be an unhealthy choice. But in this world of contradictions and standard bearers, I think it is very important to know how to listen to your body, which often has a more intelligent response than any expert. Even skipping meals or not considering a mid-day or mid-afternoon snack can be an unhealthy choice. But in this world of contradictions and standard bearers, I think it is very important to know how to listen to your body, which often has a more intelligent response than any expert. Even skipping meals or not considering a mid-day or mid-afternoon snack can be an unhealthy choice. But in this world of contradictions and standard bearers, I think it is very important to know how to listen to your body, which often has a more intelligent response than any expert.
