Yesterday (October 8) Intel presented the new 9th generation Intel Core i9 specifically designed and engineered to improve the performance of the PC from the field of gaming to that of content creation. Anand Srivatsa, Vice President and General Manager within Intel’s Client Computing Group, stated the company’s goals for customers who want the best out of their PC performance :
Our goal is to deliver leading performance across all computing segments and product lines. Today’s announcements underscore our ability to achieve just that, including the best Intel desktop processor ever for gaming. Whether it’s gamers, content creators, or power users using the most advanced workstation applications, Intel and its partners are committed to delivering balanced platforms with real-world leading performance and robust capabilities that exceed customer needs.
The processors presented are three:  i5-9600K, i7-9700K and i9-9900K , each of these models offers excellent performance that will certainly be able to satisfy the needs of the most avid gamers. Specifically, Intel Core i9-9900K is the most performing, the latter guarantees a detailed gaming experience and truly high-level performance. Below you can find the features of this 9th generation of Intel processors:
- Over 220 frames per second (in newer games).
- Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0 offers a single-core frequency of up to 5 GHz.
- Ability to capture gameplay, transcode and stream while playing.
- Enhanced video editing with Adobe Premiere.
- Overall system performance has been improved by up to 15% over the previous generation and up to 40% over a three-year-old PC .
- Ability to overclock  these new processors with Intel Extreme Tuning Utility.
In addition, the processors, in addition to being compatible with components designed ad hoc to accommodate them (such as the new Intel Z390 chipset ), are also compatible with all motherboards based on Intel 300 series chipsets . This choice is intended to give buyers more choice on which PC to buy. The sale of 9th generation processors (described above) and Intel Z390 chipset -based motherboards is open since October 8, 2018 at online stores or authorized retailers.
To celebrate the launch of these new 9th generation processors, Intel has organized the “9th Gen Intel Core i9 Processor Dreamstakes” contest , with the aim of giving away nine VIP trips to participate in eSports events such as Extreme Masters , Overwatch League and ‘ ESL One.
Finally Intel also presented a new range of Intel Core X series,  namely: i7-9800X, i9-9820X, i9-9900X, i9-9920X, i9-9940X, i9-9960X and i9-9980XE,  were also given various information about the Intel Xeon W-3175X processor . These processors, in addition to being based on  Intel Mesh technology, are designed to handle the most demanding tasks and applications to the best of their ability. These new X-series processors will be available from November, while the Xeon W-3175X processor will ship by Intel itself in December.Â
