I ask for information on food intolerance to yeast

Hi, I was found to be intolerant to brewer’s yeast . I would like to know if I can still take kefir (since it is a fermented food anyway). Thanks, Raffaella

Good evening, you can certainly assume kefir is made with water, an excellent forbidden and non-sensitizing to gluten. Have a good evening. Dr. Giuseppe Gianfrancesco
Being a fermented food, both water and milk kefir should be eliminated at least for a period. Sincerely

Good evening, I ask you if yeast intolerance has been identified due to the annoyances you have complained about in relation to the intake of fermented foods or if you have undergone the test for intolerances for other reasons and the result has been as written . Kefir contains certain yeast, but you should understand what type of yeast is used and if you are intolerant to all yeasts or in particular to saccharomyces which is used for the production of common baked goods, which together with gluten give phenomena of very evident intolerance. So the most sensible answer I can give you is to try to introduce a small amount of kefir into your diet and see if intolerance phenomena arise.liver . Kind regards Cinzia Zedda naturopath, reflexology expert, iridology expert, meditation instructor
