2019 opened with more than one release in the field of smartphones, and among the giants who proposed their models , Huawei could certainly not miss , which without much compliment presented us with its P Smart 2019 . The model tries to repeat what was the excellent relationship packaged with the previous model, resulting in a medium-low range device suitable for every type of customer. Here’s how our test went.

Packaging

The packaging of the Huawei P Smart 2019 turns out to be of standard size and pleasantly resistant, presenting inside not only the dividers of the case and the instruction booklet, but also the basic accessories, that is a 5V / 2A power supply , a USB cable / microUSB and the inevitable classic Huawei stereo headphones. All the objects mentioned are for their use, not showing themselves to be performing at excellence, but in any case promoted without infamy or praise.

 Design

The new smartphone branded 2019, even if from the technical side it appears to be dedicated to the medium-low quality range for unpretentious consumers, it turns out to be very elegant from an aesthetic point of view . With its sinuous lines, even if with the shell and the plastic finishes, the whole product has a LED in the lower edge, the side buttons, the key for unlocking with a fingerprint and a small finish to make room for the front chamber. . Finally, there is also the speaker, the charging input and micro USB data. The P Smart 2019 is available in three different colors :

The performances are fluctuating. We are not dealing with a high-end phone, and the quality of photos and videos is exactly what we would expect from a phone belonging to the reference category., In this case, the medium-low one (unfortunately tending to low) . The quality of the Artificial Intelligence for the recognition of the environments is good, but the colors and the management of the lights are lacking in thickness . The quality of the videos is an end in itself.

At launch, the  Huawei P Smart 2019 is already equipped with Android 9.0 . Even if the software does not excel in speed and performance, the general management withstands the impact impeccably, confirming itself as an absolutely valid device for the medium-low range. Huawei comes with many features worthy of interest, such as the phone manager, “digital management”, and other small features to make everything more customizable.

Autonomy

Certainly not the strong point of the model. Even if the results are decent, the P Smart 2019 with the 3400 mAh battery guarantees the duration for a full day , even when used in the workplace. However, if you are faced with very tight commitments that take more than 24 hours, it is advisable to have the power supply at hand.

Price

When it comes to models of this type, the value for money always turns out to be very good. Huawei is not new to this type of game, and the new P Smart 2019 has arrived in our country with a price of € 249 . It was not a very low price, but with the months the offer of the product has settled, even reaching under € 200 , with Amazon offering the model for just over € 180 .
