How many pounds to lose to look more attractive?
Researchers from the University of Toronto have done a very special study to be able to establish how many pounds people who want to improve their fitness and appearance must lose. Given that it is better for everyone to stay in a weight that corresponds to 18.5 / 24.9 points of body mass index (BMI) and not to exceed or fall below this range in order not to risk being underweight or overweight, the researchers explained that losing weight or gaining weight without the criterion of health, but to look more attractive, often causes the opposite effect. A healthy weight is a weight that makes us appear in our best shape, and therefore more attractive.Losing weight for an aesthetic whim, or for the simple fact of wanting to be like others simply risks making us ugly.
From this assumption, the researchers have drawn up some simple rules to understand how many kilos to lose if we want to achieve certain aesthetic results , for example:
1) notice the first changes on the face: weight changes are observed on average after losing at least five kilos.
2) have a more sculpted and attractive face: if we have a chubby face, we should theoretically lose 7-8 kilos to have it much slimmer and with cheekbones out.
3) Attractive people have a body mass index of 19 for women and 24 for men, always on average at normal activity and normal height, which is about 55 kilos for women and 80 for men.
