Healthy nutrition, 5 foods to say yes to

potatoesOften for many people, eating a healthy diet means giving up many foods, and in the very long list that sometimes makes it difficult even to meet you or at least invite you to dinner, there are those that for you were indispensable delicacies, your personal crap. Well, I believe two things.

The first is that as metabolism expert Ari Whitten says , your goal is to keep fit and healthy by eating as many calories as possible and indulging in as many foods as possible. Easy to lose weight by dropping to a thousand calories. But it’s also easy to ruin your health. Easy to reduce to eating little or nothing, and lose weight even from boredom. But it is also easy, in this way, to create nutritional deficiencies, and health makes us goodbye once again. It is more difficult to lose weight by eating our fill, eating as much as we should to look like humans and not laboratory rats, eating all we can eat, unless we have proven allergies, stay healthy and fit. Something that is not as impossible as many of you imagine, but which is undoubtedly a slower process. It means eating more natural and less industrial 80% of the time. It means having an active life, following some sports or working out in the gym. It means taking care of your health and therefore your metabolism.

Losing weight quickly, restricting calories and gradually decreasing the foods that can hurt us “in our opinion” is instead the fastest way to ruin our health, and start having a problematic relationship with food. As Scott Kustes states in this funny book , people are convinced that by eliminating certain foods, populations who live a lot will get closer to what they eat, but, that’s the beauty of it, wherever you go you will always find a population that eats exactly what it is. you are avoiding like the plague
