Gym obsession and the case of vigorexia

In English it is called bigorexia , in Italian the tendency to be obsessed with fitness and the gym takes two names, one of a more generic nature ( muscle dysmorphia : the tendency to see oneself physically different from reality; for example, seeing oneself fat while being thin and trained, or too small and underdeveloped despite being muscularly hypertrophied) and one that is instead the translation of the English term, and therefore vigorexia .
The big one in English, which refers to the idea of thickness (the obsession with feeling “big”, a term also used in Italian, to say hypertrophic), in Italian has been translated with vigor, in the sense of “exercise” but also of “strength, vigor”.

People who suffer from vigorexia obviously often do not know they suffer from vigorexia, but it gets worse: while in the case of eating disorders there is much more awareness today than in the past, and many people with an eating problem often suspect to have a problem, also because the family and affective network often works as a ground for comparison, in the case of vigorexics, any external interference is branded as ignorance or lack of understanding , moreover, very little is still talked about the phenomenon, therefore a fixed of the gym is never or almost never considered a fixed in a negative sense

Still, people who come to vigoressia often come out of eating disorders : in this case, vigoressia acts as a sparring partner, one simply changes one obsession for another. It is thought that there is an improvement (after all, the culture of the body is a positive thing, which is often associated with a healthier diet), but in reality the same obsessive behavior has changed face.
What are the attitudes that should make us fear of suffering from vigorexia?
