LG has recently announced that it will bring two of the leading cloud gaming services , Google Stadia and Nvidia’s GeForce Now , to its latest TVs later this year. According to the announcement, the streaming platform of the Mountain View giant is expected to be available soon after the new lineup of OLED , QNED and NanoCell TVs of 2021 will start shipping this spring , while the service of the manufacturer of graphics processors, motherboards and components for multimedia products is expected to be released later this year .

The news testifies to continued growth for both services. Google has promised that Stadia will arrive on Google TVs (including the latest revision of the Chromecast) in the first half of 2021 , an operating system that will be widely supported by Sony’s new smart TVs. All the new products of the Japanese giant, presented at CES 2021, should have the new user experience. As for GeForce Now , the service is currently available on the Nvidia Shield platform, Windows, macOS, Chrome OS, Android and (in beta) on Safari for iOS and iPadOS. At the moment there is no native support for smart TVs, so LG will be the first company to integrate the US company’s cloud gaming platform.
