Eating at will” is bad for the diet

Let’s imagine this case: think about your everyday life , and think about every meal that you can freely eat as much as you like. No one who tells you that it hurts, quite the opposite. If there were a dietician next to you, he would slap you on the back, with one of those toothy smiles as if to say: well! I know it’s not true and maybe it was, but imagine it. Would you eat more than you eat now? I say yes. I think it very likely.
I also believe that, even when we are not on a diet, our sense of satiety sooner or later arrives, or is anticipated by our conscience: we can eat until we burst in restaurants or on Sundays, but not every day for every meal. In short, we normally have something, let’s call it the instinct of conservation, which allows us not to abuse food as a rule.
Of course, it doesn’t have to work as much if we get fat: but that’s another story. We can get fat for what we eat more than for how much, because we are sedentary or otherwise.
Now we come to the diet: sooner or later it happens, my dear, diet is a kind of anathema that cannot be escaped.
Now: why do you choose diets in which there are no restrictions of any kind, in which it is even said that you can eat at will?
If you don’t eat at will in everyday life, why should you eat to bursting when on a diet? It doesn’t make sense. In addition, the new diets, even when they are restrictive, all use the same slogan of eating at will. Just as when you go to one of those “All you can eat” restaurants you cannot expect all this quality, in the same way the All You Can Eat diets are not quality diets .
The principle a diet must teach you is moderation. With the promise of a bursting belly, no one has ever moderated. Of course, in some cases, if you eat at will only proteins you can lose weight: but when you return to everyday life you will not be braked. And ‘one of the reasons why people gain weight what is it? The first: getting your diet wrong. And a diet that promises you to eat at will is incorrect by definition.
