Well, for those who want to try it here is a week of his water diet .  As you can see, in the water diet Sunday is a day off, but the pattern can be repeated for another week without problems, to lose over a kilo per week.

DR SORRENTINO’S WATER DIET:
THE WEEKLY SCHEME

VALID FOR EVERY DAY

Breakfast: 2 glasses of water.
Coffee or tea with sweetener (I suggest stevia)
1 glass of soy milk or 1 125-gram low-fat yogurt.
30 gr. of whole grains or 2 rusks.

Mid-morning snack: a citrus juice or 25 pistachios or 15 almonds.

Mid-afternoon snack: 125-gram low-fat yogurt or 3 walnuts or 1 10-gram square of black chocolate.

In dr Sorrentino’s water diet it is possible to change lunch for dinner.

  • Monday

  • Lunch: 2 glasses of water.
    1 plate of grilled vegetables with spices or herbs to taste and a teaspoon of raw olive oil. 1 wholemeal sandwich of 50 grams.
  • Dinner: 2 glasses of water. 1 serving of lentil soup with thimbles.
    (Ingredients for 2 people: 100 g of thimbles, 150 g of canned lentils, 4 cherry tomatoes, 1 clove of garlic, bay leaf, 1 sprig of rosemary, ½ onion, 2 teaspoons of extra virgin olive oil, salt, chilli.  Execution: chop the garlic, onion, bay leaf and rosemary, place them in a pan with the lentils, the crushed tomatoes and ½ glass of water. Cook over low heat and with a lid for 15 minutes and then add salt.
