Dr. Oz’s 3-Day Detox Diet

The 3-day detox diet proposed by Dr. Oz is a cleanse diet, which is a detox-type diet based on replacing meals with 3 slimming shakes for breakfast, lunch and dinner for 3 days in a row.

It allows you to lose a pound and a half in 3 days and prepare the body for a more natural diet .
After these 3 days, in fact, Dr. Oz recommends continuing with a one hundred percent natural
diet, with fruit, vegetables and tubers, legumes, nuts and seeds, good fats from olive oil, meat, fish, cheeses and whole grains. , but without packaged and industrial foods that alter our bacterial flora, stimulate nervous hunger and are obesogenic, that is, they cause overweight.

Otherwise, take advantage of the detox diet to clean up after a period of parties or a period of extravagance.
Unlike many liquid diets, this one only lasts 3 days and is very nutritious and filling.
I tried one of these smoothies, the lunch one, and I haven’t actually been hungry for hours.

Another trick can be, if we want to lose weight without stress, try to choose two smoothies (breakfast + lunch or dinner) for a week, having the other free meal based on proteins and few complex carbohydrates (for example grilled meat with small salad and 100 grams of fruit, or carpaccio of salmon or bresaola with a slice of bread and vegetables or even a vegetable omelette and a small fruit).

Or, if we want to lose weight more slowly, use just one, for lunch or dinner, for about a month. This will allow us to lose 3 kilos without drama and practically without a diet.

DOCTOR OZ’S 3-DAY DETOX DIET

Breakfast.
A cup of green tea as soon as you wake up.
A Breakfast drink (under the recipe).
Probiotics to supplement, such as lactic ferments, and half a tablet of multivitamin.
Lunch.
A Lunch drink (under the recipe).
Half a multivitamin and an omega3 supplement.
Snack.
A 200 ml glass of skim or soy milk or a 125 gram low-fat yogurt. 
Dinner.
A Dinner drink (under the recipe) or a mini-meal of proteins and vegetables.

Advice.
A relaxing bath with water, two and a half cups of English salt poured into the bath and 10 drops of lavender oil before going to bed.

The recipes.
The detox breakfast:  blend 200 grams of raspberries or kiwi with a squeeze of lemon, a teaspoon of almond butter or 10 almonds, half a ripe banana, a handful of spinach or songino, a teaspoon of flax seeds, half a cup of water .
The detox lunch.  Blend 200 ml of oat or soy milk with half a green apple, a teaspoon of coconut oil or 10 almonds, 100 grams of chopped pineapple or pear and a little fennel.
The detox dinner. Blend 150 grams of mango or orange, 150 grams of blueberries or a kiwi, one and a half cups of coconut water (300 ml) or 100 ml of soy milk, a handful of valerian or songino, 1/4 of an avocado or 10 almonds, a pinch of cinnamon or ginger.
