I have described many of Dr. Oz’s diets, but this 2 week quick diet, very easy once you understand the instructions, I had never told you about it.
And I understood this seeing the dr Oz show in Italian the other night, in the episode in which we were talking about this fast and low carb diet, as well as with a low glycemic and insulin index, which allows you to lose weight quickly and in two weeks, but if we want we can also do it for just one week.
How Much Weight Do You Lose? With Dr. Oz’s 2-Week Quick Diet you lose four to five pounds fast, even if you have tried to lose weight previously and have stalled, meaning you are no longer losing weight.
In fact, in this diet we find the formula to push the body to lose weight, learning to eat with a low glycemic index, and to keep carbohydrates under control.
Let’s look at this 2 week quick diet plan from Dr. Oz. I will try to schematize it exactly as from Dr. Oz’s site, where you can find the original (in English). There are no substitutions, so don’t do it your own way.
DR OZ’S 2-WEEK QUICK DIET
Main rules.
- Foods to avoid. You cannot eat wheat, sugar, sweeteners, coffee, dairy products apart from Greek yogurt, and you cannot have meals after eight in the evening and until eight in the morning. You cannot drink alcohol for two weeks.
- You must have at home: a multivitamin, a prebiotic to be taken in the morning (lactic ferments, kefir or other okay).
- Take a detox bath every evening with two cups of English salt and one of baking soda dissolved in the bathtub. If you have a shower, a hot shower with a scrub based on 240 grams of English salt, 100 grams of bicarbonate, a few drops of essential oil of birch or peppermint or alternatively a teaspoon of olive oil. Mix everything, take a handful to put on a glove or a sponge and pass it on the body after washing, before rinsing.
- It is not a diet for those in the gym or specific workouts.
You should walk or do light and moderate activity for half an hour a day.
