Dr Migliaccio’s pasta diet: lose one kg a week
There are people who believe that pasta makes you fat. In reality this is not the case.
On the contrary, you can lose weight by eating pasta. And Dr. Migliaccio’s pasta diet, the famous diet of the recently deceased Italian dietician, now promoted by the Migliaccio studio, confirms this. With the pasta diet we can in fact lose over one kg per week and 5 in a month.
Because pasta doesn’t make you fat
Good durum wheat pasta provides a medium glycemic load. The pasta that can be found on the market abroad is different: in this case, it is often pasta made with refined flour and not with durum wheat semolina. Hence, all the articles that make sense perhaps in the United States or Germany, but which translated into Italian have led to the belief that traditional pasta makes you fat.
In fact, when paired with vegetables and light seasonings, pasta is a great choice for weight loss.
PASTA DIET: HOW IT WORKS
A plate of pasta about 70/80 gr. combined with vegetables stewed at will and a drizzle of oil it is a satiating meal with an excellent supply of fiber. Therefore a pasta diet is not only possible, but it is excellent for those with intestinal swelling and blood sugar problems, but also for those with stress problems that prevent them from losing weight. In this case it is recommended to eat the pasta dish for dinner and not for lunch.
The pasta diet, developed by prof. Migliaccio supplies 1100 Kcal and in two weeks ago lose about 2.5 kg. It can be continued for a month, in agreement with your doctor.
If you want to lose more weight, just eat the whole variety of pasta, with a greater satiating power and more. The extra fiber in wholemeal pasta reduces the absorption of calories consumed throughout the day.
However, whether it is normal or wholemeal, remember to cook the pasta al dente.
This little cooking trick is enough to further lower your glycemic load .
