Doctor Migliaccio’s tuna diet
A Mediterranean diet starring a very popular food in the diet of both people who want to stay on a diet and those who play sports: tuna.
Tuna , especially natural, is an easy to find food, rather inexpensive, which is liked much more than other fish, even to those who generally do not generally like to eat fish, but above all which is versatile, low-calorie and with an excellent protein profile (about 23 grams of protein per hectogram) and a reduced fat content.
Perhaps for this reason I particularly like the tuna diet which was devised by Dr. Migliaccio, dietician and former President of the Italian Society of Food Science . And by doctors Martina Comuzzi and Silvana Nascimbeni, dieticians, for Ancit , the National Association of Fish and Tuna Fish Preservers.
The diet has a limited carbohydrate content and an excellent protein content, is 1200 calories and offers very simple recipes, created by chef Renato Bernardi.
You may ask yourself: but in the tuna diet we only eat tuna?
Absolutely not.
