DIY Mint and Chocolate Protein Shake

This mint and chocolate protein skake is ideal as a substitute or quick meal, both for lunch or dinner if we want to lose weight or compensate for a day that is a little excessive in calories, or for breakfast. It has only 183 calories and is super tasty and packed with nutrients. I found the recipe on the Fit Foodie Finds website and it’s delicious. I made some substitutions to create a 100% natural recipe, without the use of proteins or powdered preparations, but for those who use whey I put the original ingredient in it.

HOME-MADE MINT AND CHOCOLATE PROTEIN SHAKE
Ingredients for 2 people
240 ml of vegetable milk with reduced calorie and sugar content (30 Kcal per 100 ml) such as soy, chocolate soy, chocolate
rice, oats, almonds, coconut, hazelnut
120 gr of ripe banana
200 gr of pasteurized egg white, cooked in a saucepan with 3 tablespoons of water until you obtain a white and creamy mixture to be cooled well (or alternatively a scoop of chocolate whey)
20 gr of unsweetened cocoa
a pinch of salt
1 teaspoon of mint syrup (Fabbri type)
stevia for sweetening (or other calorie-free sweetener)

Procedure: simply blend all the ingredients and keep it in the fridge half an hour before consuming it, in order to obtain the right creaminess! If you use chocolate whey, you can drink it right away instead. You can keep the protein shake in the fridge, but you must then shake it very well before drinking it.
Nutritional values of the mint and chocolate protein shake: 183 calories per serving, of which 15 grams of protein!
