Moon_Diet_Time-298x300If you are looking for a quick way to detoxify (for example after a disordered eating period) and lose excess fluids, a very fast diet and almost no contraindications because it only lasts one day (in its simple version, a month per repetition if you want do the full version), is the moon diet, also called the lunar diet or werewolf diet . Despite being a diet as old as the cuckoo (I think I heard about it for the first time more than twenty years ago), the diet of the moon returns every year, and every year it attracts curiosity, also because it is a very fast and easy diet. Who wouldn’t want to lose six pounds of pee in 24 hours? Also Madonna and Demi Moore do it periodically. 
Clearly, it is impossible to think that this kind of diets make you lose weight, but it deflates a lot and is ideal for those who suffer from swelling, constipation and temporary water retention, wake up in the morning with swollen eyes and feel a bit “blocked” 

The basic version of the moon diet only lasts 24 hours. Consult the moon calendar of the current year , and when there are full / new moon days (marked with an empty or full circle) you need to fast for 24 hours. It is not an absolute fast : you can drink sugar-free water, tea or coffee, and homemade fruit or vegetable liquids, or juices and smoothies. No sugar or other added food and no salt,only fresh fruit and vegetables in liquid form , herbal teas, tea or coffee for a whole day. You will pee a lot more than you have drunk and you will deflate a lot. If desired, it is possible to do the diet of the real moon , or with a different eating behavior at each phase of the moon: with the waning moon you need to drink a lot and eat balanced; with the new moon the 24h fast is done again as with the full moon; with the growing moon, carbohydrates are avoided after six in the afternoon and dinner is still early.
