Diet misconception, how to remedy it?

I broke my diet: and now how do I do it?
How many have found themselves in this situation?
Here are the two typical thoughts that are consequent to the failure of the diet.

  • Thought from diet number one.
“Oh my God, I am incapable of running a diet. I’m inept, I don’t know how to manage myself, but what’s wrong with me ”, etcetera etcetera.
  • Rude thought diet number two.
“Come on, who cares. What life is without the pleasure of food? Better the egg today than the hen tomorrow! ”Well, if you’ve ever thought about these two things, and it’s very likely, I’ll tell you what’s wrong.
  • In the first case, you are not incapable of running a diet, but you must also realize that not all days or moments are the same. There are occasions when we eat more, when we literally have no idea how many calories we have eaten. And that’s okay.
We need to organize ourselves on other days, in everyday life, and have confidence and constancy. So instead of telling yourself that you are incapable just because you have failed, you have to tell yourself that you are human and like everyone else you live your life. And that you are able, like everyone else, to plan your diet in a healthy way to compensate for the mistakes.
  • In the second case , you can feel great with a few extra pounds, and it is true that the pleasure of good food is a pleasure of life. But you have to decide how you feel.
Do you really want to keep gaining weight, do you like yourself like this or more because underneath you feel unable to follow a healthier lifestyle? At that point, read the previous thought.
You will find that egg today is okay if you really have an egg craving. But that, if you follow adequate nutrition the rest of the time, the egg is likely to be tight on you today, and you would like to be fine the rest of the time. Or better.
So act accordingly and don’t make excuses for yourself. Going astray is human, but you can always fix it .
And on page two we see how to do it with the advice of Paolo Soffientini, scientist and author of the book “ One hundred years as a lion. Manual for a long life without too many sacrifices “(Mondadori editions).

The book deals with various issues concerning lifestyle, from smoking to sleeping to binges. Let’s see together the part relating to the diet sgarro.
