Crying baby 15 months: can Bach flowers help you?

Crying baby 15 months: can Bach flowers help you?

Good morning I have a 15 month old girl and since she was 9 months old (at that time the first tooth came out) she wakes up crying even 4.5 times at night and sometimes even when she sleeps in the afternoon. I went to a herbalist’s shop and he gave me Mimulus for fear but it only worked for a few days, i.e. at night he woke up once but always crying, then I came back and he gave me Resource remedy along with Mimulus. I believe that it is not fear or not only that, I think that she is too attached to me (she is with me 80% of the time) because when she wakes up in the night she sometimes takes my hand and falls asleep like this (I am still breastfeeding herin the morning and in the evening to sleep, I think she uses her breast as a pacifier since she never took it) but as soon as I remove my hand she wakes up, maybe because she falls asleep at the breast and then wakes up alone in the bed, even during the day when I leave her alone in the room sometimes she cries. During the day she is a serene child, in the park she greets everyone, always smiling. Do you think I should try another flower? I need some advice because I’m exhausted and now I’m taking Resource remedy for stress too . Thank you

Dear lady, it’s probably as you say! Go to a herbalist’s shop and have a synergy prepared for both you and your baby. There are flowers that can help both of you to accept “separation” and too much attachment in a gentle way without trauma. For her, also add a flower in the synergy to strengthen it. It seems to me emotionally and physically grounded. I can’t point you to the flowers because I lack some valuable information to really help you but her herbalist will help you for sure at best .. Flower therapy is really very useful and valid in children. My advice is to find your way around the Australian flower garden (very fast and effective) which offers very precise and targeted remedies, in case of specific problems. You are looking for a good naturopath who works with Australian flowers and gets advice on the right synergy right now. For her, given her strong stress, I recommend the “STRESS STOP” synergy of Australian Bush Flowers, 7 drops, under the tongue, twice a day. Regards, Alessandro Da Col, professional Naturopath.

Bach flowers are fine for a little girl but I would also try to act on a different level. You create rituals with the child that precede falling asleep, perhaps by reading fairy tales to her. If the little one has a favorite object, let her take it with her because the passage from wakefulness to sleep is also a detachment from her and her object, defined as transitional, will help her in this detachment. Eventually try to leave a light on and if the child sleeps alone use fluorescent stars on the walls and ceiling so that when she wakes up she sees something beautiful and bright.

As a naturopath I would recommend the Bach flowers but as a friend I would advise you to try a homeopathic product useful in turmoil and whims the chamomilla in homeopathic form in drops ask the pharmacist how to take it.
