Compensation meal, how to keep light?
Have we eaten too much, or do we expect to eat too much? The problem, typical of the holidays, is that when you eat too much, at the beginning you get a little euphoria: at the table there are many good things, most of us do not think too much about it and here it is. that we take the opportunity to eat a bit of everything, give ourselves an encore, the trio, as well as the last sweet when we just can’t do it anymore. But if, for example, we think of the Christmas holidays, already on Christmas day, if in the previous one we have made eve, we feel the annoyance of the weight on the stomach , and even if we want to eat less, we find ourselves eating a bit of everything, but with guilt feelings. Pants or skirt tight, we don’t feel as empty as the day before.
To avoid arriving in Santo Stefano which is decidedly too full, I recommend a compensatory meal: for example on Christmas or Boxing day evening, if we have not played in advance with lunch on December 24th.
What is meant by a compensation meal? Well, we mean that light meal in foods and calories that we eat in order not to fast at all, after we find ourselves with a heavy stomach from the previous binge.

Compensation meal: what NOT to eat?
First, even if it sounds like a great idea to you, don’t fast completely. After two hours of fasting, you will want a sweet, which will then turn into half a panettone at eleven in the evening. You can afford it anyway, can’t you? You skipped the meal!
In second place, the choice of a liquid compensation meal . The smoothie or smoothie will leave you hungry after a couple of hours. And the panettone is always there in the pantry looking at you. In third place, the fruit-based meal, or worse still, the milk and biscuit soup. Either way, we’re putting on an extra load of sugars that we really don’t need. And they are compromises that will leave us unsatisfied. There is even a fifth place: minestrone! You already have water retention from binge, avoid shooting yourself in the foot. So what is the caper to eat? We see it on PAGE 2 .
