Chocolate Almond Substitute Meal: 257 calories

A chocolate and almond-flavored substitute meal from Dr. Kellyann Petrucci , author of the Broth Diet , a detox program that promises to lose up to 6 kilos in 3 weeks. Ideal as a breakfast meal replacement following this minifasting scheme (liquid diet fast for breakfast and lunch):

MORNING + LUNCH: 7-HOUR MINIFASTING
– morning: detox substitute meal with chocolate and almonds, with a large satiating effect
– light lunch: a plate of meat broth or alternatively a soup with a spoonful of olive oil
AFTERNOON AND DINNER: FOOD NORMAL (WITHOUT EXAGGERATING)
– afternoon snack: one fruit and a dozen almonds
– dinner: normal but protein, therefore a second course of meat or fish or a plate of legumes with a side of vegetables, a small wholemeal sandwich or a fruit.

Let’s now come to the recipe for the almond and chocolate substitute meal:
– a cup of water (240 ml)
– a scoop of chocolate collagen protein, like Myprotein hydrolyzed collagen peptides  chocolate flavor
– two handfuls of raw spinach or raw valerian
– a spoon of almond butter (15 grams)
– truvia, half a level teaspoon

Blend everything in a blender / mixer for a few minutes, adding a few ice cubes if you want a more frothy result. You can drink a coffee or tea (also macchiato) but with sweetener afterwards.
