Candida, all the tricks to have
Candida infection can be really difficult to eradicate, but a few simple steps can help us. Let’s see which ones!
Candida is an infection caused by a fungus ( Candida albicans ) that occurs naturally in the human body. Some favorable conditions for the microorganism determine an excessive proliferation, responsible for the insidious infection and all the symptoms associated with it, such as:
- Abdominal swelling
- heaviness;
- intestinal irregularity;
- fatigue.
A healthy lifestyle and proper nutrition could help prevent or facilitate healing. Let’s see together what are the fundamental precautions!
Dietary precautions in case of candida
Among the conditions that favor an uncontrolled proliferation of Candida , there is a diet rich in simple sugars and refined carbohydrates and, in general, unbalanced and responsible for inflammation and imbalance of the intestinal flora.
Here are some useful foods for Candida prevention :
- Non-starchy vegetables such as artichokes , asparagus , cabbage , garlic , onion , cucumber , spinach , tomato , zucchini .

General precautions and recommended habits in case of candida
In addition to a healthy diet, it is very important to pay attention to some factors in order to prevent Candida infection , fight it or alleviate its symptoms. Here are some of them:
- Keep the intestine healthy by consuming a good amount of fiber, fermented products and avoiding excessive use of antibiotics.
- Reduce inflammatory processes by limiting added sugars, alcohol, caffeine and additives.
- Avoid synthetic underwear such as microfiber, which, by adhering excessively, raise the local temperature, favoring the proliferation of yeasts.
- Prefer undergarments with natural fibers , such as silk or cotton.
- Do not wear wet costumes for too long : in a humid environment, Candida proliferates more easily.
