Bloated stomach, the foods that help us

Swollen belly and in particular swollen stomach , a small accident that can happen when we can’t digest well and indeed we have the feeling of having the “mappazza” (forgive the expression but gives the idea), or the weight of the food. Sometimes for a swollen stomach it is an occasional ailment, often in conjunction with mixed and abundant meals with the following combinations:
– foods rich in sugar and also rich in fat, that is Sunday lunch or evening dinner on Saturday: in this case the latter slow down the digestion of the former and the overall meal. – highly hydrated foods mixed with a heavy meal:

for example, you have eaten too much but don’t disdain some fruit; the food was salty and you started drinking a lot of water during the meal; you have abounded started with a soup to keep yourself light, but then finished with a challenging main course, a side of potatoes and a nice dessert. Here the liquids have diluted the gastric juices, therefore the digestion times have lengthened.
What to do in these cases? When we have a swollen stomach, I always recommend two things: a tea of fennel seeds and a long walk. But if the accident happens more than occasionally, adding these foods to our diet can help us.

SWELLING STOMACH, ANTI-SWELLING FOODS
We can use these foods for herbal teas before and after meals, or as a compensatory meal, then a subsequent and light meal after the heavy or difficult meal.
Ginger (anti-swelling), pumpkin (good for soups and warm or roasted salads, is rich in potassium), mint (helps to relax the abdominal walls and works as an antispasmodic), yogurt (let’s eat it for breakfast if we have an important lunch), pineapple ( anti-inflammatory, digestive: to be eaten as a compensatory meal with mint leaves and fresh ginger flakes), aniseed (to chew immediately after a meal), dandelion tea(digestive, helps eliminate excess fluids), papaya (ideal as a compensatory meal, especially if we feel constipated in addition to a swollen stomach).
