Bedetox is here, the vegan diet at home!
It is called Betedox , and it is a “diet delivery” service that is home delivery of dietary meals which , compared to previous home diet ideas such as Diet to Go, offers a 10-day detox and vegan menu that detoxifies, purifies and makes you lose weight . The one proposed by Bedetox is a rich and low-fat vegan diet , i.e. low in fat, but also gluten-free (the whole grains used are rice, quinoa, buckwheat, millet) and rich in spices. The ten-day menu promises to make you lose weight with taste, and in fact the dishes (at least on paper, I personally haven’t tried them) are as appetizing as those of a restaurant and every day is varied, full of fruit and vegetables, but also of foods that we hardly find on our tables, such as umeboshi.
Who is it suitable for?
Bedetox is first and foremost suitable for those who can afford it: the complete 10-day menu (breakfast, lunch and dinner plus 3 snacks) costs almost 500 euros. It is perfect for those who have little time to follow a diet, for those who want to experiment with a vegan diet, for those who want to let their digestive system breathe from a diet that is often not very varied and “polluted”.
Are there any cons?
The program is more detox than dietary in the sense of “slimming”: compared to the Diet to go service, for example, there is no breakdown of macronutrients and not even a daily calorie ceiling that distinguishes the menu. So detox and vegan is guaranteed, weight loss is not . However, it remains a good experiment to try to understand how a more varied and plant-rich diet can lead to an improvement in health and therefore to a state of well-being. Which could be the urge for many to try, I am not saying to be vegetarian or vegan for life, but a diet based on fruit, whole grains and vegetables, without eating meat and pasta with sauce every single day.
