Always ready to improve and compete with the majors of the tech sector, on the occasion of CES 2021  also AMD has decided to peep, with some announcements of some juicy news that will accompany us during this year, especially as regards the first 6 months of the 2021. First of all, let’s talk about the RX 6000 video cards, a series already available on the market, it is true, which, however, will soon be enriched with further mid-range and high-end models. During the conference, we received confirmation of the arrival of new AMD RX 6000 video cards , all scheduled for debut in the first half of the year .
Unfortunately, we do not have certain data yet, but it is likely that it is some of the rumored RX 6600 , RX 6600XT , RX 6700 and RX6700XT . There was a chance to admire some short gameplay of the 6000 Mobile series , which will guarantee the necessary power to play even on mobile, according to what was declared also at 2K resolution (1440p) with over 60 FPS for some rather demanding games. The news does not end there, however, because AMD CEO Lisa Su also presented the Ryzen 5000 series of mobile processors .
We are dealing with the Ryzen 5000U series , which starts through the Ryzen 5800U , which features Zen architecture 3 , 8 cores and 16 threads , as well as a 15W profile . This is a series that will allow you to optimize the autonomy of laptops, guaranteeing sessions up to over 20 hours . Finally, there was room for the powerful 5000HX , with 20MB of cache profiles and capable of exceeding 45W . We are talking about the Ryzen 9 5900HX and the Ryzen 9 5980X , both with Zen 3 architecture, 8 cores and 16 threads , but with a speed inboost clock of 4.6GHz in the first case and 4.8GHz in the second . These will make their debut in several laptops starting in February, thanks to collaborations with companies such as Asus , MSI and HP .
