Add sugar to light dishes

ice cream bedOn diets and healthy eating we read all sorts of things and unfortunately blogs in this case often act as a sounding board for the news reported on TV, or publish texts by collaborators that are really questionable: an example happened to me some time ago, reading that according to a Canadian health portal, peanut calories are not metabolized and therefore do not count. A great nonsense that, however, it took me hours to unmask, because it misunderstood the data of a study. This too is no exception: an article in The Spectrum magazine claims signed by a nutritionist that the dishes could be more palatable if we added a little sugar.. After all, don’t the food industries do it too? Why don’t we have to do it too? It seems to me a terrible thesis , which relies on consumer moderation: if you use a little sugar in your low-fat yogurt it will taste better, right? The important thing is to use little, learn to moderate yourself, more than on the reliability of the advice. Nowhere is it written that so-called lean foods need to be flavored, nor that we need to learn a food industry trick. The risk is in fact that of constantly getting used to a sweetish taste in the mouth, which makes us addicted. On the contrary, we should all learn to eat less sweet, not to fall victim to flavorings or tricks! People must not restrain themselves, they must eat differently, and with taste. Without the sugar trick.
