Just a few hours ago Acer officially presented, during the next @ acer event held in
Berlin , a new range that enriches its extensive product catalog, and which specifically includes four new very interesting Chromebooks , aimed at offering the performance, the portability and autonomy that families, students and small business owners need. The four new Chromebooks were presented in different formats, in order to adapt to the needs of users based on the screen size, features and technology proposed.

Specifically, two are new laptops with large displays that boost productivity in a
wide range of situations, namely the 15.6-inch Acer Chromebook 315 (CB315-3H / 3HT) and dedicated numeric keypad, and the Acer Chromebook 314 (CB314 -1H / 1HT) by 14 inches. Both can be used in bright ambient light conditions, thanks to the anti-glare displays that ensure crisp and legible text, vivid colors, clear video and images; in addition, both are built with IPS technology and offer wide viewing angles in both the touch and non-touch versions.

The other two new 11.6-inch Chromebooks , on the other hand, are designed for customers who want a more
compact solution to use freely when on the move or on the road , with a design that has a width and depth less than an ordinary sheet of paper. A4 (210 x 297 mm). More specifically, the 1.2 kg has a 360-degree convertible design, thanks to the 11.6-inch HD touchscreen display that can be used in four different modes : tablet, notebook, display and tent. It also comes with an antimicrobial Corning Gorilla Glass touch display that resists scratches to further protect your device.

The Acer Chromebook Spin 311 , on the other hand, while maintaining a traditional design weighs only 1.06 kg and can also be used with an optional Wacom EMR stylus, to draw, take notes and do many tasks directly on the display. The HD display features IPS technology and is available in touch (CB311-9HT) and non-touch (CB311-9H) options.

Beyond individual performance and technical and design features, all four Chromebooks offer users the convenience of an HD front-facing webcam and fast, broad connectivity to peripherals and online sites, with two USB 3.1 Type-C Gen 1 – one on each side – to recharge the battery from the most convenient side. The same ports, of course, can also be used to charge other products, quickly transfer data and connect to an external HD display. In addition, there are also two additional USB Type-C ports, two USB 3.1 ports and a MicroSD card reader to increase storage space. They are also equipped with Intel® Gigabit WiFi chipswith an 802.11ac wireless antenna , and Bluetooth 5.0 functionality .

All four new Acer Chromebooks offer guaranteed high performance throughout the working day (with an autonomy ranging from 10 to 12 hours ), being equipped with the latest Intel®Celeron® N4000 dual-core or Intel® Celeron® N4100 processors quad-core. Specifically, Acer Chromebook 315 can be equipped with eMMC memory up to 128 GB and dual-channel SDRAM up to 8 GB. Acer Chromebook 314 and Acer Chromebook Spin 311 can be configured with up to 64GB of eMMC memory and 8GB of dual-channel SDRAM. Acer Chromebook 311 offers up to 32GB of eMMC memory and 4GB of dual-channel SDRAM.

The new Acer Chromebooks benefit from a fanless design that makes them quiet in
operation, making them perfect for shared spaces in the home or library or school. They
also come with moisture-resistant touchpads to protect the device from problems. They also feature Google Assistant 4.1 , the voice assistant that allows users to do more faster and smarter while remaining hands-free.

With Google Assistant, users can send emails, find documents, start music playback, access the calendar and control smart home devices without switching screens. The devices also support the configuration of multiple users to protect the privacy of all family members, who can share the system and access it using each their own account to guarantee privacy. Chrome OS ensures fast startup times (about 8 seconds), and greater security, thanks to automatic updates that protect users from ever-changing online threats, such as viruses and malware.
