A personalized diet on you, here is the secret

A personalized diet on you, here is the secret

excellent dietSome time ago a study showed that you can lose weight with any diet , you just need to be motivated. In years that I have been writing about diets I cannot deny this statement: in fact you will find people in shape whether they do the paleo or the Mediterranean diet, whether they eat high carb or low carb, who have abandoned sugars in favor of fats or the other way around, that count calories or have eliminated gluten. Clearly there are better diets, diets that come close to good nutrition, but even a quick diet can lead to weight loss and even a diet of junk foods, as in the case of a teacher who would have lost over fifteen pounds by eating fast food.. In short: it is not so much the diet we choose, but the motivation to make a certain diet and follow it to make us lose weight. This is the problem, not the diet itself. What to do to avoid giving up the diet? How to find a diet that we like so much that it almost doesn’t feel like a diet?
This question was answered by the BBC broadcaster with a documentary, entitled “What’s The Right Diet For You”, in which a group of scientists struggling with a sample of people with peso tried to establish a series of eating behaviors that could invalidate the diets or decree their success. So the problem is to make a diet that suits us, depending on what kind of people we are. If we suffer, for example, from nervous hunger, it is useless and harmful to focus on the diet of intermittent fasting, because we will be defeated, and with a double desire to overeat. Also, there are several reasons why we gain weight, and we don’t all lose it in the same way. An example reported by the documentary is for us. Let’s think how we go wrong : we are the type of Nutella jar and a packet of biscuits in front of the TV, or comfort food types, are we people who love to nibble all day, are we people who manage to stay hours without eating but then lose all brakes at dinner? In the first two cases, an ideal diet is one that allows frequent low-calorie snacks:

there is one called the Five Meal Diet , but you can eat it up to six times a day. In the third case, a normal protein diet could be fine, but without giving up carbohydrates, even the volumetric diet can be for you: it is a diet that consists of completing the normal meal with high quantities of vegetables and fruit.
In short: as you can see, the idea of looking for a diet tailored to our needs is not bad. But how to start?
My advice is to be honest with ourselves, determine which foods we love the most, which ones we can give up without too much effort, and what kind of eaters we are, whether from dinner and binge or from constant snacks. Depending on the answers we will also know which diet to do.
