A man tries all diets and slimming down like this
Andy Leeks had several kilos to shed and another serious problem as well: he was pretty confused about which weight loss diet was really right for him, there are so many. So, even in order not to get bored with a single diet, he decided to do them all. Yes, you got it right. This man managed to lose over ten pounds by doing about ten different diets. Some lasted 3-4 days, but on average they had to last at least five days. For each diet Andy reported the weight lost, any notes and symptoms. In some cases he has been really bad. He will briefly tell you about his experience starting from the first diet.
Note : Before trying all the diets, Andy went to the doctor saying that he wanted to do this experiment.
1) The 5: 2 diet or fast diet :Andy says he was fine, and so he followed her for five days straight, two to 600 calories a day and three normal, losing nearly two pounds. Then he moved on to the next.
2) The Special K diet : five days of hell, a really boring diet based on Special K cereals . He has lost less than a kilo.
3) The NHS balanced diet : NHS is a site that offers a balanced and normocaloric diet free of charge, as long as you also follow a valid physical activity. Andy did it for five days, saying she was perfect and didn’t feel like she was on a diet. If you want to download the diet, it is available in English here . He has lost nearly two kilos.
4) The juice diet: the juice dietit gave Andy a terrible breath, and it was also challenging to follow. It lasted four days instead of five because she couldn’t take it anymore. She has lost nearly two kilos.
5) The Atkins Diet: It is a low carb, fat and protein based diet. Andy felt drained and nervous, barely losing a pound in five days.
6) The raw food diet: Eating raw sent Andy to the hospital following a temporary intoxication despite the choice of a vegetarian version. He considers it the worst diet of ten.
7) The baby food diet: Andy tried to lose weight by eating baby food. He lost half a kilo in five days.
8) The grapefruit diet: boring when that of baby food and only half a kilo lost.
9) The low-calorie diet : through an app, Andy noted how much he ate to respect the calorie count. Less than half a kilo and a lot of boredom …
10) The cabbage soup diet : unbearable, even the sweat stank, he lost about half a kilo.
And after finding all these diets? Andy chose the one he was best with, the NHS health site’s balanced diet: with an average of 1900 calories per day and side by side with running, Andy was able to lose further weight without feeling deprived of food, and he is managed to do it successfully for two months.
