A fertility diet?
Apparently omega3s are not only useful for reducing cardiovascular and brain risk factors in the diet and improving our overall health, but also the quality of sperm . At the moment, some Australian scientists have ascertained that a particular fish species, Poecilia reticulata, with higher levels of omega3 fatty acids, also has a greater charge of fertility in males than other species .
Hence the intuition of the biologist researchers, who do not exclude that the omega3 derived from fish can increase the fertility of other animal species and therefore of man, so a study on a voluntary sample will follow. For the time being, the discovery has been published in  Biology Letters.Â
Meanwhile, for those wishing to experiment with a fertility diet, an idea could be to act as a guinea pig for science, increasing their daily diet with fish rich in omega3 : salmon, cod and blue fish. Omega3 supplements derived from fish, such as from fish oil or even better from krill oil, are also fine .
