For a tendonitis is it advisable to use the practice of moxibustion?
I have had a problem with tendonitis in my left shoulder for several months, which limits the movements of my left arm; normal therapies such as laser, iontophoresis and lastly tecar therapy do not seem to give results. Can the moxibustion technique give any results or is it contraindicated? Are Acupuncture Sessions More Effective ? Thanks for your answer. Patrizia

Dear Patricia, turmeric and ginger and boswelia act as anti-inflammatories and pain relievers specifically in treating problems like yours. You can easily find them as supplements in herbal medicine, plus lipoic acid and B vitamins are of great help for the improvement of your problem. Vitamin C supplementation is also helpful in reducing inflammation along with omega three. Finally, the compress with arilla is excellent, have a layer at least one cm high and half mixed obviously with warm water, cover it and let it act, it is important that it does not dry, so that it completes its healing action. Best wishes!
