During the Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona, Nokia announced the first smartphone with five rear cameras: the Nokia 9 PureView . A top of the range where all cameras (equipped with ZEISS optics) work simultaneously, and merge into a single 12 megapixel shot in HDR. Two sensors are responsible for taking color images, while the other three take monochrome photos: they still work together to capture up to 10 times the amount of light of a single standard sensor on a smartphone.
Then there is the possibility of capturing images in uncompressed “DNG” RAW format, reworking them on the phone thanks to a partnership with Adobe Lightroom , a true image post-production tool. The Pro Camera interface gives you more control over your photos, with the ability to take time lapse photos with support for exposures up to 10 seconds. Exposure can also be adjusted in 1/3-stop increments.
Turning to the technical specifications, Nokia 9 Pureview includes a 5.99-inch QHD + POLED screen, Snapdragon 845 chipset , 6 gigabytes of RAM, 128 gigabytes of internal memory, 3,320 mAh battery (with support for wireless charging) and Android 9 Pie as operating system. Obviously present the Face Unlock and the fingerprint sensor. The starting price is 699 Dollars : the start of marketing is scheduled for March. Pre-orders are already open today in some markets. Only the Midnight Blue colorway will be available.
