Description of the Jade
Mineral class: phyllosilicates.
Chemical formula: NaAl [Si2O6] + Ca, Fe, Mg, Mn
Jade is an ornamental stone and not really a mineral, but rather a set of particular silicate minerals ( jadeite and nephrite ) distributed in a structure made of very fine grains and intertwined fibers.
The color is rarely uniform: on a white or white-gray background, slight shades of pink, lavender, violet or more often emerald green or light green are mixed up due to the presence of chromium .
On the market today there are other minerals sold under the denomination of jade, such as serpentine , which not only looks the same, but is also extracted from the same deposits as jadeite and nephrite, although it is more malleable and less resistant.
Element
Water : the water element concerns the sphere of emotions and femininity (love, healing, compassion, reconciliation, intuition).
