During the past few hours the details on the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics cards would have leaked thanks to Videocardz. The info suggests that both GPUs will be launched in the coming months and will target the top of the gaming segment. It has been talked about for a long time now, however now it seems that we are slowly approaching their official presentation: according to recent sources, NVIDIA and its partners will unveil their new technologies at different but very close times , respectively in April and May . The specs have also undergone a slight change, but they keep the basic configurations that were leaked a while ago.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti 12 GB FE (Founders Edition) graphics card is expected to feature PG132-SKU18 PCB design and GA102-225-KD-A1 graphics core. The GA102-225 GPU has also changed since we last saw them and will now feature 10240 CUDA cores for a total of 80 SM drives . As for the memory, the card will be equipped with 12 GB GDDR6X . Unlike the 19.5Gbps speeds of the RTX 3090, the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti is said to maintain the same memory speeds as the 19Gbps ​​RTX 3080 . The RTX 3080 Ti will use a 384-bit bus interface which equates to a total bandwidth of 912 GB / s . So while we see a reduction in VRAMof 8 GB over previous specifications, the larger bus interface should provide more memory bandwidth. The TGP for the card is set to be the same as the 320 Watt RTX 3080 . This is definitely needed to power the extra cores, so NVIDIA may need to optimize the clocks.
