Sulon Q , this is the name of the virtual reality viewer developed by AMD that just today decided to announce the production of this headset to everyone, designed mainly to offer many performances with a single product.
What does it mean to offer different performances in a single product? Simple, the new viewer presented by AMD is able to support both the virtual reality system and the augmented reality system. This new device does not need to be connected to a PC and will boast an internal AMD FX-8800P processor with a Radeon R7 graphics card .
Sulon Q , has the characteristics to be able to easily face the competition given the completely different dynamics from Oculus Rift and Vive , but much more similar to the idea of Microsoft with their HoloLens . That said, AMD ‘s brand new trinket will feature an OLED screen with a maximum resolution of 2560×1440 and will support the latest graphics APIs such as DirectX 12 and Vulkan .
A very respectable presentation that made by AMD for its latest product, which ended with only the release forecast set during next spring and without having revealed a probable launch price.
What do you think of the latest viewer presented by the American company? Will it be able to withstand the fierce competition?
