With the aim of simplifying networking and connecting external displays and peripherals, Acer has launched the new Works with Chromebook line , designed to offer greater productivity, which already includes a total of 3 different products all compatible for an ecosystem .
Expanding its Works With Chromebook line, the company unveiled the Acer USB Type-C D501 dock , a new device that makes it easier to connect multiple displays or peripherals to Chromebooks, offering multiple ports and therefore a lot of convenience. This includes 3 ports for external displays, including HDMI and Display Port , with 6 USB ports (4x USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A and 2x USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A) to support any peripheral with convenience in a complete setup that does not require additional devices.
The dock firmware can be updated once the device is connected to a chromebook , to ensure maximum compatibility over time. This is available as early as September 2021, with indicative prices starting from € 269.90 .
This is added to an already existing line, also made up of 3 other products, which you can admire in the image below.
Let’s talk about the Acer USB-C – USB-C ACB910 cable , designed to connect USB-C devices and peripherals, allowing users to charge their devices during transfers up to 10 GB per second, also using USB-C displays, hard drives and other peripherals.
The two Acer Wireless Mouse M501 (AMR800) and Acer Wireless Mouse M502 (AMR020) mice are also added, with sensitivity of 1,600 DPI in the first case and 1,200 DPI in the second. These are intended to ensure reliable and responsive navigation on the screen. The shape of the mice has been designed for maximum comfort with both left and right hands. The devices are available at a price of € 24.90 also in Italy starting from September, and can be the perfect devices to combine with the Acer USB Type-C D501 Dock just presented by the company.
