Lose weight without these mistakes
This morning I take a cue from this article to talk about nine beliefs that we carry with us on the subject of diet and weight loss and which, alas, are apparently useless if we want to lose weight. If you also believe in one or two of these things and do not lose weight as you hope, indeed, the only swing you feel in the scale happens if you start rocking it or throwing it in the air, then from today you can change and optimize your efforts, hoping that the results arrive soon. Here are some things that are useless and harmful if you are trying to lose weight.
DON’T LOSE WEIGHT IF …
1) Make a drastic and fast diet:you get some results after two, three days, jumping through hoops with the idea that you will sacrifice a lot for a very short time, but you will be able to manage your weight loss intelligently so as not to immediately regain weight. Unfortunately, with fast and drastic diets you only lose water and muscle. You take them back regardless of your will.
2) You weigh yourself too often: weigh yourself only in the morning when you are on a diet, on a complete fast. Do not weigh yourself for the rest of the day, it is useless and harmful. Keep a journal of your progress, averaging the weight lost after seven days.
4) Go shopping on an empty stomach: you will want to gorge yourself more and you will be tempted more easily. Moreover, if you are on a diet, putting insidious things in the cart hoping that you will know how to dose them anyway is a tragic mistake. Shopping is done with the list in hand and a full stomach.
