Slimming snacks, where to find them?
What Are Weight Loss Snacks? Exist? Many years ago special chocolate and apple bars (tiny bars) were on the market that were sold in pharmacies at exorbitant prices because according to the claim they were “slimming snacks”. I then asked the pharmacist what those bars were for slimming : if we talk about slimming snacks, I expect to eat something that makes me lose weight , right? She replied that she didn’t know, that theoretically there must be a special fiber of some kind in the bars that she satiated. The bars measured six centimeters and were a few millimeters thick. They were withdrawn from trade.
Now, let’s get to the moral of the story. Why am I telling you all this? Well, whyslimming snacks do not exist . If there are no “negative calories”, how do there exist special snacks that nourish you but at the same time make you lose weight? On what principle? If they are satiating it would make sense to say that they are satiating snacks . If they satiate, they are low-calorie and contain few sugars and fats and few harmful substances we can at least define them as dietary . Instead, many bars and meal replacements are marketed as slimming snacks : according to those who make them , they are slimming in a remote, let’s say indirect, sense . If you eat these snacks instead of lunch you cut a certain amount of calories, so in a way you lose weight, maybe. Very objective! In fact over the year
A snack that makes you lose weight does not exist. There are diet snacks, protein bars, etc. But none of these things actively tip the scales. The “slimming bars” do not exist: those on the market are full of sugar and even salt, just read the label. If we really want something that keeps our appetite at bay, let’s eat a nice carob. They fed them to me as a girl, directly from the tree. If you have good teeth, carobs are practical, they are legumes so they have a source of protein as well as carbohydrates, and they are sweet. A carob will force you into slow, endless chewing, and has a rather persistent sweet flavor. You can take it to the office, you can chew it while you work, if you have stopped smoking, if you want to keep your nutrition under control . Carob, yes. One hundred grams provide about 200 calories, an average carob weighs about thirty grams, a 60-calorie snack that you chew for over half an hour.
You can find them at the greengrocer’s.
And for those who want a salty flavor, there is always celery. Very few calories!
