The lollipop diet
In the United States and Great Britain they are all the rage: they are the slimming lollipops of Powerpops , a company that has been developing the “Lollipop diet” a few years ago, that is a diet based on the consumption of some cappuccino-flavored lollipops. and strawberry cheesecake for weight loss.
Where is the miracle? These are lollipops that combine the actions of what are considered three fat burners: hoodia, a sort of African tuber, guarana and garcinia cambogia. They are sugar-free and have only ten calories per lollipop: and so we can eat our fill with something sweet always at hand and thus avoiding eating between meals and, why not, even skipping meals directly. ANDWhile the stars get bewitched by the lollipops of this company , I will make you a little confession: many years ago I developed an addiction to sugar-free candies. A whole packet had about fifty calories, and I was suffering from nervous hunger, so I ate a lot of them so as not to overeat. Now I thank God that I no longer have such a disturbing addiction.
Even if they were only sweetened with stevia or xylitol or erythrol, then with no sweetener harmful to our health but natural, these lollipops or candies or drinks or all these zero calorie or almost sweet gimmicks are very bad for both our metabolism and in general to our health: on the one hand, they leave us a constant taste of sweet in the mouth, which paradoxically makes us much hungrier. It’s easy to see why: the body expects carbohydrates every time we ingest something sweet. Insulin mounts in vain. With the consequence that the body will require carbohydrates that have not arrived , making us hunger for sugar and carbohydrates.
In short: things like the diet of lollipops are a real damage to our health , and so are all light sweets!
Prefer an apple to these crap.
