A smoothie that allows you to detoxify from a heavy meal or a slightly disordered period in nutrition. In this smoothie, some antioxidants and fat burners will allow you to promote the drainage of liquids and the work of the liver and digestion.
Ingrediants
- For about two doses:
- – A pound of blueberries
- – 100 ml of sugar-free pomegranate juice
- – 100 ml of concentrated green tea (from two sachets)
- – 100 ml of unsweetened grapefruit juice (unsweetened pineapple or apple juice plus the juice of half a lemon is fine for those who don’t like it)
- – Two small and tender ribs of celery
- – A medium cucumber
- – Two wedges of fennel
- – A teaspoon of ginger root powder (or a sprinkling of fresh ginger)
- – A teaspoon of apple cider vinegar
- – 10 peeled almonds
- water to taste
- – an optional teaspoon of honey or agave syrup
Instructions
- Put all the ingredients in the blender with a couple of ice cubes, check that the smoothie is not too creamy, if you add a little water and continue blending. Taste: if the mixture is too sour, you can sweeten it with very little honey or agave syrup. The dose is for two portions, to be drunk in the morning before breakfast or half an hour before the important meal or dinner: in this way it will also make it easier to eat less, due to its satiating power.
