Epsom salts to cleanse and lose weight

floatersAccording to Dr. Oz, one of the simplest tricks to lose weight is to take an evening bath with Epsom salts, or magnesium sulfate, much better known by us as the English salt. Dr. Hyman also recommends it as a good evening habit to take while on a diet. But why should Epsom salts have a slimming function? Here’s what you know.
Epsom salts are a natural compound based on magnesium and sulfate that is known for its purifying, antispasmodic and laxative properties.

How to use them? Simply to take advantage of their purifying and detoxifying action, just use them as evening bath salts, in hot / lukewarm water: in this way they would help the body get rid of excess toxins, promote relaxation and sleep by stimulating the production of serotonin, they would help to counteract water retention and cellulite, they would act as a detox better than a black cabbage smoothie.
If we then started working out in the gym, Epsom salts can help us reduce the feeling of fatigue, avoid cramps and muscle aches, increase recovery after sports.. In short, Epsom salts, promoting purification and detoxification, and helping the body to get rid of toxins, already allow us to counteract one of the ascertained but most underestimated causes of overweight, namely exposure to pollutants, through nutrition and lifestyle. And they would favor a restorative dream, preparatory to weight loss.
These two reasons are enough to look for Epsom salts at the pharmacy ( or you can buy them here , I recommend the kilo pack, which will allow you to take 4-5 baths).

And if we want to make the most of their potential, here is the recipe for a bath that is a real cure-all for a spa .

SLIMMING AND ANTI-INFLAMMATORY BATH WITH EPSOM SALTS AND GINGER
Dissolve in a bath made of hot water (without soap),
a cup of Epsom salts
half a cup of powdered ginger
a piece (optional) of fresh ginger (maybe put in a gauze pad)
a few drops of ginger essential oil

To be done at least an hour and a half before going to bed.
Immerse yourself in this bath for at least twenty minutes, relaxing. You will start to sweat (please, hot but not boiling water).
Finish with a splash of cold water and get out of the water. You will likely continue sweating for another hour, of course, so remember to hydrate properly. Bathing should be done at least once or twice a week.
