Almonds have been experiencing a period of great popularity for a couple of years: recommended by chefs of the caliber of Pete Evans, often considered a great ally and the favorite snack of those who follow low-carb diets, by followers of the Paleodieta, of natural nutrition. and of the ketogenic diet in all its variations, almonds are known for their satiating and fat-burning properties.
Here are five reasons to prefer them to other seeds.

1) They contain omega6 and 3 polyunsaturated fats, and omega9 monounsaturated fats:
 now, it is good to remember not to exceed in these fats, but to choose carefully our sources of polyunsaturated fats. Almonds are a good compromise, because they contain both omega6 and 3 and also monounsaturated fats. They have a normalizing effect on blood sugar and keep bad cholesterol at bay.

3) They give you good fibers:

5) They are a healthy snack (and perhaps less calorie than we think):
