The purifying green tea mask

The purifying green tea mask

I tried this green tea purifying mask, which has the consistency of a gel and can be used without problems even every day as a purifying and anti-aging treatment (it can be kept for a week in the refrigerator!): I made it with a light note astringent, but it can be made more nutritious and sweet with the honey variant. Green tea has an antioxidant, purifying and anti-aging action: after two days of treatment, the skin appears firmer and more luminous, and erases the signs of fatigue on the face. Plus, it’s super easy to do.
Here’s how to do it.

GREEN TEA ANTI-AGING AND ANTIOXIDANT MASK:
5- 6 green tea bags
250 ml of water
a generous teaspoon of rice starch or cornstarch or potato starch
for the nourishing variant: a teaspoon of honey
for the astringent variant: a teaspoon of fresh tomato or lemon juice

The first thing to do is a heavily loaded tea. Boil the water, then turn off and steep for 10/12 minutes and five or six bags of green tea. Strain the tea, and dissolve the starch in it. Put it back on the heat and after a few minutes the mixture will set, with a gel consistency. At that point, turn off and cold add your ingredient: honey for a more nutritious version, fresh tomato or lemon juice for an astringent treatment. The purifying mask should be kept in the fridge, and can be used for a week. Just put a thick veil on your clean face, wait a few minutes, until it congeals and crystallizes. At that point, rinse and put on your usual day cream.
