The healthy and detox hot chocolate
Ok, this thing of finding the perfect recipe for a healthy detox hot chocolate had been in my head for some time: something to drink that is lean but also healthy but also chocolaty and perfect for the first cold ones.
I have looked at many recipes, but this is a perfect mix of antioxidants between spices and foods with a high nutritional value, and above all it has a good ratio between calories and good fats.
I recommend it instead of the various hot chocolate preparations, rich in sugars and thickeners.
Here is the recipe for detox hot chocolate.
DETOX HOT CHOCOLATE, THE RECIPE
Dose for two
250 ml of coconut drink such as alpro or almond milk drink without sugar or hemp milk (or coconut water)
100 ml of water
a teaspoon of coconut oil or a tablespoon of Tibiona
stevia coconut milk to taste or other sweetener of your choice (if you use coconut water, add less)
2 teaspoons of matcha green tea powder or acai berry powder
mix of cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger powders (a pinch each)
a pinch of salt
30 grams of bitter cocoa
half a teaspoon of guar gum or a teaspoon of corn starch or rice flour
(Kcal max 160 per person)
In a saucepan, mix the cocoa with the matcha green tea powder, the spices and the guar gum powder (or as an alternative to the matcha powder, make a green tea with 100 ml of water and mix the green tea with vegetable milk or coconut water); add the water slowly, mixing well to avoid lumps. Finish with the 250 ml of vegetable milk and a pinch of salt, plus the stevia or the sweetener and heat until the spoon is slightly veiled, without getting it to boil.
Ultimate with coconut oil or coconut milk (I recommend the latter).
