Diet after the holidays with panettone or pandoro
If you have survived the days of Christmas and New Year unscathed or you are in medias res, you have something in common with many other people: leftovers. And no desire, I guess, to throw them away to go on a diet.
In particular, there is no house in which a pandoro or panettone is not left over.
How to make sure to include it in your diet without gaining weight, perhaps in a diet after the holidays or between Christmas and New Year? Here are my tips for a Christmas diet or a diet after the holidays with panettone or pandoro. We can do it between Christmas and New Year and starting from January 2nd for a week, leaving only the day of the Epiphany free. Then we can repeat it for another week.
HOW THE CHRISTMAS DIET OR AFTER HOLIDAY DIET WORKS
It is a diet of about 1350 calories, suitable for compensating for excesses.
Sugary drinks should be avoided. Even fats must be limited because in both these preparations (pandoro or panettone) there are butter and eggs. Similarly, sugars containing one or the other dessert must be balanced by reducing the rest of the daily carbohydrates. For the panettone the classic one, the one without candied fruit and the one with chocolate chips is fine. For the pandoro the classic one.
However, the menu is greedy and you won’t feel like you’re on a diet! I’ll show you on page 2.
